Proposal For Helen Rowett Memorial Garden, Dousland

Proposal for Helen Rowett Memorial Garden

The garden was bequeathed to the council some years ago and is located on the corner of Manor Park and Burrator Road.

The council are seeking opinions on the proposal and welcome any comments.

Please email comments to the clerk at theclerk@burrator.gov.uk

The vision of the proposal is:
To create a garden for everyone, benefiting the community and wildlife, on the site of the Helen Rowett Memorial Garden.
Undertake activities which enhance the area for wildlife, whilst making the garden welcoming for the local community.
Once completed, the aim is to maintain the garden as a community space, incorporating a ‘model wildlife garden’, for the village of Dousland.
